South Africa beat India by nine wickets in the third T20I in the three-match T20 series at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday to level the three-match series.
After winning the toss, Indian skipper Virat Kohli decided to bat first but the Indian batsman struggled against Proteas bowling attack especially against Kagiso Rabada and Beuran Hendricks and ended up making a moderate score of 134/9 in 20 overs.
South African skipper Quinton de Kock led from the front to make 79 (52 balls, 4×6, 6×5) runs and helped the team chase down the target easily in just 16.5 overs. De Kock made a 76-run opening stand with Reeza Hendricks (28) to take the game away from India.
Earlier, batting first none of the Indian batsman could impress with the top order kept collapsing in regular interval- Shikhar Dhawan (36), Rohit Sharma (9), Virat Kohli (9). For India, Hardik Pandaya took 1 wicket.
